Bubu is a funny, green creature from outer space, which got lost in space on his journey home to and landed on the planet Bombadoo. While trying to ask Bombadarians the way home, he was declared a freak and locked in psychiatric hospital (how would you react if a stranger asked you about a way to Zyxerion TB456? ;-) ). Now, Bubu is desperately trying to find his way to freedom and go back home. The galactic hospital is not a nice place to stay. Once Bubu leaves his cell he will have to face guards, doctors and other patients. He must be smart, use disguises or feed the guards poisonous pizza ;-) … To heal himself he can use a bottle of Bombabooze or a Bombajoint, but these are not easy to find. On his way Bubu will also encounter an ally, another creature looking for freedom, but let’s not reveal all game’s secrets now... Bubu: The Great Escape is the first real adventure game for a mobile phone. It is not just another “walk & fight” game. You must find various items and use them in different locations to progress through the game. Sometimes you must also combine items in order to get a new one, therefore a lot of inventiveness is welcomed from the player. The hospital is huge. There are three floors plus a basement and over fifteen rooms (many of which are locked and you will have to find keys to them) to be explored. The hospital is also swarming with personnel and patients. To fihgt them is not the best idea (although it is also possible), it is better to cheat them (how? – find it yourself playing! ). Another unique advantage of the game is the extremaly funny language used in it. Many indirect conotations and allusions are to be found ;-) It gives the player the sense of specificy of Bubu’s world and keeps him with the game for long hours. Some of the gamers need even a few day to finish the game!
